Q.      What area of counselling do you have experience with?


I have supported clients with a vast number of challenges and struggles over the years and feel comfortable dealing with whatever you would like to bring to our sessions. Each and every person is treated individually and with respect whilst remembering that we are all unique.


Q.      What are your fees?


Current fees are from £50 per session.


Q.      How long is a session?


A counselling hour is 50-55 "theraputic" minutes.


Q.      How often will I need to come?


I usually recommend weekly sessions to begin with, however every single person is treated as an individual and we will discuss what will work for you.


Q.      How many sessions will I need?


This varies from person to person and on how much we discuss at each session.


Q.      Will my sessions be confidential?


All our sessions are confidential with the exception of an individual posing a danger to themselves or others, in which case the appropriate authorities will be notified.


Q.      Why do you need  my GP's details?


We need to have details of your GP in the unlikely event there was a medical emergency.


Q.      Do you offer discounts?


Yes. Concessionary rates are available, please call to discuss.


Q.      What are your opening hours?


Sessions are available during and out of office hours. Please call to discuss.


Q.      Do I always see the same person?


Yes your appointment will always be with myself.


Q.      In couples therapy to both parties need to be there?


Yes both parties need to attend. The session would not continue if only one person attended.
